About this Event:
This is an 8 hour in-classroom MDNR Snowmobile Safety Certification course, provided free to the public.
Check-in at 7:30am Central Time. Class starts at 8am Central Time

No age limit. Students under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
The main purpose of the Snowmobile Safety Course is to educate and develop safe, knowledgeable, and responsible snowmobile owners and operators. Topics covered include correct riding techniques, protective equipment, understanding terrain and trail operations, laws and regulations, causes and prevention of crashes, environmental concerns and reporting responsibility.
In Michigan, those who are at least 12 but less than 17 years of age may operate a snowmobile if they have a valid snowmobile safety certificate in their immediate possession, or are under the direct supervision of a person 21 years of age or older.
