About this Event:

This is a Traditional Hunter Safety Course. Materials for this course will need to be picked up at Red Fox Sportsman Club on August 3, 2024 from 10am until 1pm. If you are unable to pick up the materials on this date call (Glenn McJennett, 517-592-3815) to make arrangements to get the materials. Students will not be admitted if they did not get the course materials ahead of class. The course material needs to be completed prior to coming to class on the first day. The first day we will review the course material and a Conservation Officer will make a presentation and answer questions. Lunch will be provided both days. The second day we will take the test after a short review. We will spend the second half of the day getting familiar with the firearms we will be using and we will go to the range to have a live fire session. The class will have a chance to ask any final questions before we hand out the Hunter Safety Certificates.
