About this Event:
This is a field day only; students must bring proof of online course completion (https://www.hunter-ed.com/michigan/) OR bring a completed copy of the Chapter Review Exercise questions in the back of the “Today’s Hunter in Michigan” book. This is a community service program offered by the Chief Okemos Sportsman’s Club in cooperation with Pheasants Forever of Eaton County and Michigan DNR. There is no charge for the field day. If you choose to take the online training option, there is a small charge for that. If you wish to do the free self-study approach, the “Today’s Hunter in Michigan” books are available through Pheasants Forever of Eaton County. We will do some review of the material, help you take the written exam, and, hopefully, send you on your way with your new Hunter Safety Certificate.
-
Students under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult during the entire class.
-
You must be registered as a student prior to class. We do not expect to have room for walk-ins.
