About this Event:

Welcome to the Hunter Safety class!

We look forward to working with you. We think you will find the class interesting and valuable- especially as you think about becoming a safe, responsible and ethical hunter.

Imagine this class as being one of the most important things you do this summer. You will learn things you can use for the rest of your life. You will need to listen, pay attention, and be careful as you can be. This applies to what you learn in class and on the shooting range (NORMENCO Sportsman Club, N 15881 Pine St., Powers, MI)

A few things about the class. The most important emphasis will be on hunter safety. You will need to show us that you can apply all the rules you learned about handling a firearm. We will also talk about being responsible and ethical – that means being responsible with a gun, being responsible for others’ safety, and being responsible to the landowner- who is allowing you to hunt. Also, be sure to bring a lunch, drink and pencil- everything else provided. IMPORTANT: Each class begins at 8:30 am and ends at 1:30 pm- Central Time. A field event (live) is included in this class.

See you in June- Fred, Lyle, Bill and John (Instructors)
