About this Event:
FEE: there is no cost to attend this event LOCATION: O-599 Leonard Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534 (Note that is a letter "o" in front of the -599) TIME: Sign-in begins at 8:30am. The class runs from 9:00am until 1:00pm, and will include instruction on tree stand safety and safe gun handling. PREREQUISITE: 1.)You must EITHER complete the online portion ($29.99 fee applies) of the Hunter Safety course OR complete the TODAY'S HUNTER home study(There is no fee), before attending this Field Day; bring a copy of the certificate you receive for the online course OR, for HOME STUDY, complete the answers in the back of the TODAY'S HUNTER booklet and bring it to class as proof of completion. The TODAY'S HUNTER booklets may be picked up at the WWSC range office beginning February 8, between 9:00am and 5:30pm. You should allow at least one week to study and complete the booklet. AGE REQUIREMENTS: There are no age restrictions however students under 10 years old must be accompanied by an Adult. TEST: There will be a written test at the end of the day. Parents may help their child understand the questions on the test, but may NOT provide the answers. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED; NO WALK-INS
