About this Event:

IMPORTANT- both classes begin at 8:30 am CENTRAL TIME and conclude at 1:30 pm CENTRAL TIME.

This is a Michigan DNR - approved hunter safety class (Think ORANGE CARD). A few things about the class. The most important emphasis will be on hunter safety. You will need to show us that you can apply all the rules you learned about handling a firearm. We will also talk about being responsible and ethical – that means being responsible with a gun, being responsible for others’ safety, and being responsible to the landowner- who is allowing you to hunt. Be sure to bring a lunch, drink, and pencil. Do NOT bring a firearm or ammo. This class includes the field day (June 12- same time). Students who have completed the online class only need to attend the field day portion on June 12. (You MUST bring the online certificate of completion to class).
