We need volunteer instructors because there are not enough conservation officers to conduct training in every community across the state. We strive to recruit the most qualified instructors available and provide them the materials and training necessary to conduct recreational education courses including hunter education, boating, snowmobile and ORV safety.
Description
Recreational safety and education
Email DNR-LED-RecSafety@michigan.gov for education materials, classes and handbooks related to:
- Hunter education (including trapping and bow)
- Boating
- ORV/ATV
- Snowmobile
Replace your recreational safety certificate using the duplicate safety education certificate online form.
